How to Volunteer
The Wiregrass Food Bank relies on volunteers every day to help with tasks such as sorting and packing food donations, food distribution, and much more.
Check out some of the ways you can get involved below!
The Brown Bag Program packs groceries at 8 a.m. on the first Wednesday and Thursday of each month and distributes groceries at 8 a.m. on the third Wednesday of each month. Occasionally holidays will affect this plan. Please see the schedule below.
The Food Bank needs help assembling boxes for food distribution. Boxes can be assembled during regular Food Bank operating hours. Food Bank hours of operation are 7:30 a.m. to 4 p.m. Monday - Thursday and 7:30 a.m. to 12 p.m. on Fridays, with the exceptions of inclement weather or posted schedule changes for holidays.
Please make sure you wear comfortable clothing and closed-toe shoes when you volunteer!
